DESERT FOOTHILLS RISING REC FALL 2024 REGISTRATION
Our Fall season starts in September. Registration will close August 15, at which time registering players will be put on a wait list and not charged for the season until placed on a team.
ABOUT RECREATIONAL SOCCER
Our Recreational Program is a community-based soccer program (Desert Foothills Soccer Club) for boys and girls U4-U12 (as of August 1 of current school year). Currently, there are over 500 Recreational Soccer players organized into approximately 50 teams.
QUICK FACTS
- Fall Season – September-November, Spring Season – February-April
- Fees include uniform (t-shirt for Tots), pictures & end of season award
- NEW: Adult & 2-Year-Olds – parents and young tots work together in this class to learn the basics of soccer, Saturdays from 8:30-9:00am for 6 weeks at Desert Willow Park, starting October 12, run by Hot Shots Sports.
- U4 Pee Wee Soccer (co-ed) skill-based season is 6 weeks, Tuesdays at 4:30pm OR Saturdays at 9:15am at Desert Willow Park, October 8 or 12 through November 12 or 16. Run by Hot Shots Sports.
- U5/U6 Micro Soccer (co-ed) is one “combo” session per week
- Choose either Friday at 4:30pm or Saturday at 8:30am
- Practices start September 13 & 14 for 10 weeks
- First games of the season are October 5 & 6.
- All combo sessions at Desert Willow Park (4040 E Desert Willow Pkwy, Cave Creek)
- U7-U14 Soccer (generally separate boys and girls teams)
- One practice per week (day and time determined by volunteer coach). Once coaches receive their rosters, this information will be communicated to families.
- Practices start the week of September 16 for 10 weeks
- 8 games on Saturday starting October 5.
- End of season tournament, Soccer Showdown, November 23.
- Practices at Desert Willow Park (4040 E Desert Willow Pkwy, Cave Creek) and possibly Sky Crossing Elementary-T/TH only (3300 E. Sky Crossing Way, Phoenix).
- Games at Desert Willow Park (sometimes Desert Broom Park or Cactus Shadows HS for U12/U14)
- Players should wear shin guards and cleats (regular athletic shoes acceptable for younger ages) and bring their own soccer ball–see Age Group Format chart below for ball size.
- U13/U14 may have a different format depending on numbers (5v5, co-ed, combining age groups), but parents will be contacted before any decisions are made.

We are excited to close our season for U7-U12 with our Soccer Showdown Tournament on April 27. All teams will play at least 2 games, with some teams advancing to the finals. Awards for 1st and 2nd place given.

Picture Day is April 6 for all ages. We do not offer a make-up day.

REFUND POLICY
- Fee is 100% refundable, less a $25 processing fee, through August 15 (fall) or January 15 (spring) when registration closes.
- Fee is 50% refundable, less a $25 processing fee, through August 31 (fall) or January 31 (spring).
- All refund requests must be made in writing to info@prfcsoccer.com.
- Conflicts with team placement/practice schedules, etc., are not considered exceptions.
