Aiden Abbitt

Arizona Christian University
Aiden Abbitt led the Firestorm with seven goals and seven assists. He concluded the regular season as the GSAC’s second-leading assist provider and tied for third in goal scoring. Abbitt now holds the Arizona Christian Men’s Soccer record for most career assists with 23.
Allyson Wachtel
First Team All-RMAC

Ally Wachtel earns a promotion to the first team after last year’s second-team selection, solidifying her spot among the Mavs’ top players. As a stalwart defender, Wachtel has started every game, notching one goal and one assist. Her decisive goal secured the win against Western Colorado on Oct. 20. With an impressive 1,621 minutes played, Wachtel leads the team in total minutes.
Austin Yowell

Academic All-ASUN team
Bellarmine University
Austin Yowell has consistently impressed at Bellarmine, earning All-ASUN honors in both seasons, including second-team recognition last year. He leads the team in assists (four) and minutes (1,249), showcasing his endurance by playing every minute in the last four games. Yowell’s decisive goal in the 89th minute against Stetson in the regular-season finale secured Bellarmine’s spot in the ASUN Championship. This achievement made him the sixth Knight in five seasons to receive first-team All-ASUN honors. Additionally, Yowell earned Academic All-ASUN accolades as a business administration major.
Jack Chapman

Jack Chapman anchored the Seawolves’ defense as the starting goalkeeper, logging 1585 minutes across 18 consecutive starts. His impressive stats included 80 saves (second in the conference), a 76.9% save percentage (third in the CCAA), and four recorded shutouts.
Kate Faasse
First Team All-ACC
University of North Carolina
Kate Faasse is having a stellar junior season, leading her team in goals with 14 goals and 29 points. Her impressive run includes eight goals in the last 10 games and seven in 10 ACC regular-season matches. Notably, six of her goals have been game-winners, ranking her first in the league and third nationally.
Faasse has also achieved three braces this season, joining elite company alongside Russo (2019) and Bridgette Andrzejewski (2016) as the only Tar Heels with 3+ braces in a single season over the past decade. Additionally, she ranked 10th on Top Drawer Soccer’s Midseason Top 100 Players list, the fourth-highest ACC player recognized.

Luke Schaefer ranks second on the team in points this fall, courtesy of four goals and three assists. He also leads the Mustangs with two game-winning goals. Schaefer’s milestone moments include his first career goal and game-winner on Sept. 17 against Air Force, and his second decisive strike in a 3-1 win over UC San Diego.
Madison Hall

Madison Hall anchored the defense, starting every game and leading the back line to nine shutouts, including an eight-game streak to start the season. She played a full 90 minutes in 14 matches, only exiting early in two decisive wins. Hall’s impressive performance earned her midseason PacWest Defender of the Week honors.
Maggie Cagle

Maggie Cagle secured her third consecutive All-ACC honor with her selection to the All-ACC Third Team. This season, she has propelled the Cavaliers to a 12-5 record, serving as the team’s top offensive force. Cagle leads the squad with six goals, is tied for the team lead with five assists, and has amassed 17 total points.
Her impressive performance includes three game-winning goals, notably against No. 3 Penn State, JMU, and VCU. Additionally, Cagle assisted on game-winning goals against NC State and SMU.
Michael Huss

OVC Player of the Year

Liberty University
Michael Huss made history as the first Flame to earn Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) Player of the Year and Forward of the Year, following in the footsteps of Tresor Mbuyu’s 2016 Big South Attacking Player of the Year award.
Huss boasts impressive achievements, including his second consecutive OVC All-Conference Second Team selection in 2023. He leads the OVC in goals with 11 and points per game with 1.50. Nationally, Huss ranks 11th in goals and 17th in goals per game, averaging 0.69.
Huss has received numerous accolades, including two OVC Offensive Player of the Week awards on October 1 and October 22. He was also named to the Team of the Week on October 22.
His notable career highlights include scoring the most goals by a Flame since Kevin Mendoza’s 12 in 2018. Huss achieved a three-goal game against Western Illinois on September 28 and a six-point performance against Southern Indiana on October 20.
As one of the nation’s most accurate shooters, Huss leads the OVC and ranks third nationally with a .657 shot accuracy, putting 23 of 35 shot attempts on goal this season.
Millie Greer

Iowa’s Millie Greer has played a pivotal role in anchoring the Hawkeyes’ defense, one of the country’s top defenses. This season, Iowa has yielded only 10 goals, translating to a .556 goals allowed average, ranking sixth among power-four conference teams. Greer has added to the team’s offensive prowess with a goal and an assist.

Olivia Kowall, a standout freshman midfielder, started 14 matches for Grambling State, recording three goals and three assists. She expertly controlled the pace of play, dictating possession and sparking attacking opportunities with her exceptional vision and passing skills.
